A fast-growing food & beverage manufacturing firm is looking for a Production Supervisor to help oversee the Operations team
Reporting directly to the Regional Manufacturing Manager, this Supervisor will leverage a strong food and beverage background to help facilitate manufacturing operations. They will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production team.
The Production Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Guarantees production compliance with all industry and company regulations
- Ensure GMP and sanitations standards are met
- Lead the day-to-day production operations of Manufacturing team
- Maintain a continuous improvement driven environment
- Coordinate the scheduling for the production lines
- Ensure that daily KPIs and fulfillment goals are being optimized
- Employ Lean initiative throughout all team processes
- Guarantee efficiency of ERP system processes
- Coordinate OSHA trainings and safety meetings
- Oversee all daily line performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 2+ years of food/beverage manufacturing experience
- supervisory / management experience
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Extensive experience with GMP standards
- Some ERP based knowledge preferred
- Hot pack / hot fill experience
