Position Summary: The Product Management Specialist is responsible for Delta’s revenue performance in its product lines and ancillary products (including Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Preferred Seats, among others).This is accomplished through optimizing price and customer segmentation, monitoring competitive positioning, tracking revenue performance, improving merchandising through channels of distribution, and expanding our understanding of products in the marketplace.

This individual will collaborate with teams across the enterprise to optimize revenue strategies.A successful candidate will demonstrate effective cross-commercial partnership, strategic decision-making skills, and the ability to consistently deliver product development initiatives across commercial and operational teams.A passion for customer-centricity and the ability to successfully deliver cross-functional initiatives are critical for this role.


  • Measuring revenue performance of Basic Economy and Main Cabin products
  • Estimating impact of market-level and product-level pricing initiatives
  • Developing strategic product improvement plans and presenting results to upper management.
  • Be the Voice of Product Strategy with counterparts in other groups and departments
  • Prioritizing product development and product servicing projects involving cross-commercial teams
  • Communicating flight/market performance feedback to affected departments including Sales, Marketing, Digital, Reservations, Airport Customer Service, and Commercial Development & Innovation
  • Driving thought leadership on Product evolution
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

  • Thorough and proven understanding of market, financial, and economic analysis methods.
  • Must be skilled with spreadsheet analysis and must have experience building quantitative analysis models in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Hyperion/Brio required.
  • Experience advocating for product initiatives and maintaining strong partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Must seek challenging, analytical work and must possess the ability to communicate detailed analytical data through oral and written means to all levels of management.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional divisions within Delta. Airline industry experience strongly preferred.
