Work you’ll do
The Lead Engineer shall be responsible for oversight and engineering planning of new and/or expanded/enhanced projects. The Lead Engineer shall lead a team that is responsible for delivery of new projects, enclave planning activities, and management of long-term project and future state technology implementations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Task/Workstream Lead experience, team leadership experience, including managing remote work environment team members
- Experience providing IT infrastructure services to DoD organizations, with experience providing IT support to NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments
- Technical depth to uncover root causes of complex technical problems and expertise in providing guidance on solving them, with a passion for technology
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management using exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience implementing IT infrastructure solutions to resolve technical debt challenges, add new capabilities

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in building information systems, including process engineering and IT infrastructure or datacenter operations
- One Cybersecurity Level II or higher certification, as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01
- Experience providing IT infrastructure services to DoD organizations, with experience providing IT support to NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments
- Experience leading multiple concurrent IT projects (e.g., capacity planning, application migrations, etc.)
Preferred:
- One or more computer environment certifications (e.g., EMC, Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, VMware, IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, Docker, etc.)
- IASAE Level III certification, as defined in DoD 8570.01-M
- Experience in cloud computing technologies
- Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP)
