About The Position:
James+James is currently seeking a data-driven individual to serve as its Senior Data Manager. This is a critical role at the company and is a large component for helping to scale James+James’ unprecedented growth. Primary responsibilities will include automating and auditing the collection of information into multiple databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company data. Our ideal candidate will work with our operational leadership and has essential data management skills – including an eye for detail, respect for proper data stewardship practices and familiarity with data structuring, advanced spreadsheets, and online forms.

Ultimately, a successful Senior Data Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and actionable information in our systems. Responsibilities & Requirements:
-Entering and/or automating customer and account data from source documents within time limits
-Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for database entry
-Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output
-Archiving and tracking of departmental and company metrics, including reporting back to the COO reasoning behind the wins or struggles/blockages to success
-Communicating clearly and concisely with other team leads, COO, and CEO
-Creating, updating, auditing, and automating spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
-Transferring data from hard copy to a digital database
-Verifying outdated data and making any necessary changes to records
-Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
-Applying data management and stewardship techniques and procedures with a high sense of personal accountability
-Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations and performing backup operations
-Keeping information confidential
-Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files
-Complying with data integrity and security policies
-Finding opportunities, presenting them, and running with them

Requirements:
-Exhibit good attendance, a positive attitude, and a servant leadership mindset that will be modeled across the team
-Proven data management experience with measurable results
-Advanced experience with MS Office and/or Google Suite applications (including actionable macros development (and light Visual Basic or comparable back-end manipulation) and data modeling & archiving
-Python experience or being able to provide a quick turn learning plan to Python literacy within the first 90 days
-Familiarity with administrative duties and basic data stewardship best practices in an enterprise environment
-Typing speed and accuracy
-Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
-Attention to detail
-Confidentiality
-Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
-Additional technical training or certifications will be an asset
