Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper utilization and implementation of the CURE program
• Ensure timely Quality review of completed work packages for accuracy and completion of paperwork, including proper completion of serviceable tags, routine/non-routine work cards, Parts ID Tag, and inspection forms prior to routing documents to Aircraft Records
• Manage Quality Control receiving of aircraft components, tools, and test equipment per the procedures contained in this manual
• Lead Inspectors may perform the work of an Inspector and have the authority and duties associated with the Inspector position
• Monitor precision tool calibration schedule
• Work in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor to determine and support maintenance needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Inspector
• Ensure work accomplished by Quality Control is performed per CommutAir manual requirements, safety, and compliance rules
• Accountable for the Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities described in the Company’s SMS Manual and Title 14 CFR Part 5.24
• Advice Chief Inspector of any known or reported adverse conditions or maintenance practices not consistent with company manual procedures
• Manage and supervise the inspection functions of assigned Inspectors
• Manage Quality Control resources to support aircraft service schedules

Job Requirements:

• Know the appropriate parts of the Company Maintenance Program including Policies and Procedures, as well as applicable chapters of CFRs
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license and government-issued passport
• Must hold a current Airframe and Powerplant certificate and Company-issued licenses and appropriate authorizations required for RII Inspection and Airworthiness Release
• Have qualifications acceptable to the Chief Inspector

Qualification & Experience:

• Have at least two years of maintenance experience on Company operated aircraft or related experience on transport category aircraft with one year has been a certificated mechanic
