Early Head Start Home Visitor

Our Early Head Start Home Visitors will receive a $3,000 sign on bonus!

Location: 4629 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati Ohio 45244 – serves families in the Clermont County region

Degree Required: Associates degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field

Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field

2 years’ experience in early childhood is preferred

Full Time Year Round position

Home visitors play an essential role in working with families to lay a foundation for their child’s school readiness. Working in the child’s home, where families are most comfortable, sets the stage for close, trusting relationships between staff, parents, and children. Through these relationships, home visitors establish a partnership with families, and help the families set and meet goals for their children and themselves.

Additionally, Home Visitors will:

Provide services to pregnant moms and children up to the age of 3 in their homes on a weekly basis

Provide educational aspects of lesson planning, screening and curriculum implementation as well as the advocate aspects including family goal setting and progress monitoring.

Tracks health and social service information and provides socialization experiences for the families.

The ideal home visitor is organized, flexible and has the ability to establish rapport and trust with families. They work well with deadlines and are good at working with a variety of people.
