People Operations Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Operations Manager in our New York office. In this role, you would be responsible for completing all HR duties in support of the daily operations of the business. We are looking for a professional who is collaborative and appreciative of the importance of company culture as we continue to quickly scale our business. This is a hybrid role based in NYC.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance of all current policies and procedures with all HR laws
  • Working with the team to oversee the hiring and onboarding processes for all company employees
  • Creating a recruitment plan according to operation needs and sales projections
  • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, the business, internal procedures, and regulations
  • Creating resources and managing employee training and continued learning
  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and employee communications
  • Running and maintaining an internal NPS program
  • Maintaining electronic files for employee documents, benefits, and attendance records
  • Creating employee engagement plans and initiating activities within budget
  • Managing the BAC process (employee performance review process)
  • Addressing employee grievances
  • Work collaboratively across departments including HR team in Phoenix, AZ
  • Review employee feedback, strategize about HR programs to benefit workplace culture and enable growth
  • Acting as a key liaison to our DEI Committee
  • Building and fostering a culture in support of our company values

Requirements

  • 5+ years of human resources professional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR administrative tasks and responsibilities including payroll
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
