As Data Center Project Coordinator – will work closely with the various teams across Bray to successfully identify, track, and provide sales alignment to further Bray’s commercial success in the vertical market. The Project Coordinator will be responsible to maintain owner/EPC design standards for guidance to the regional sales team members, and to be a liaison with the estimating department on bid proposals. This position will provide greater accountability and success by aligning strategic projects, and applications across multiple regions. The role requires a broad range of skills – familiarity with construction life-cycle, mechanical & controls scopes of an HVAC system, and the ability to manage cross functional teams from sales to supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Liaison between VP Data Centers, and the key territory stakeholders on target projects or customers.
- Identifying key project or target accounts utilizing construction services (CMD Insight, Industrial Info Resources) for assignment in CRM.
- Acting as a central point of information on design standards for leading owners, OEM’s, and system design topography.
- Coordinating project requirements with supply chain operation for material forecasts.
- Recording and managing historical project data to assist in future project negotiation, and marketing efforts.
- Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Competency in HVAC, fluid hydronics, or valve manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting (pipeline reviews)
- Ability to negotiate and shape a deal including understanding pricing and risk.
- Understanding the difference between “nuts and bolts” vs. bits and bytes” of a Data Center.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, BA, or related field required
- Minimum of 5+ years highly relevant work experience.
