Job Advert
To support our delivery we are looking for a: Planning and Integration Co-ordinator to join the EM&R Business Support Team. The Business Support Team is pivotal to ensuring the efficient and effective running of EM&R in meeting the needs of our customers. The Planning and Integration Co-ordinator will report to the Planning and Integration Squad Lead and will develop forward looking customer demand plans and help integrate EM&R resources to satisfy those demands. The role can be located in either the UK or USA, following bp’s flex working guidance, with occasional travel as needed.

Key Accountabilities
As Planning and Integration Co-ordinator you will:

  • Support the Business Support Lead roles for both Refining and Production in collating and understanding customer demand.
  • Integrate across bp Solutions and other enablers to ensure EMR resource is prioritized appropriately and critical business support needs are met
  • Support the annual demand review process for Production and Refining and integrate across bp Solutions EMR teams to deliver annual plans
  • Utilize agile principles to maximize the alignment of resources to priorities
  • Communicate plan and activity sets with the business to create visibility of activities across EMR
  • Analyze performance of plans and continuously improve using agile methods

Essential Education
A degree in an engineering discipline.
It Is Essential That You Have

  • Experience and technical understanding of engineering, reliability, maintenance and operating issues that can impact oil & gas processing facilities.
  • Demonstration of the bp leadership behaviors and commitment to bp’s Safety Leadership Principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills in planning or integration
  • A very good understanding of bp’s organizational structure within P&O.
  • Very Team focused, demonstrate working with teams to maximize performance.

There is a strong preference that you hold chartered engineer status. It is also desirable that you have experience of:

  • A good understanding of bp’s organizational structure beyond P&O and across the wider group.
  • Practiced Agile principles and has experience in application of Agility
  • Knowledge of Planning and Integration practices
  • Understanding of sizing and complexity of support for EMR
  • Exposure or Understanding in developing Strategic Plans
  • Proficient in Problem Solving and identifying improvement opportunities
