Summary
This position is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of the unit patient requiring specialized skills in intermediate care nursing and directing the team members. This position requires knowledge of departmental and hospital policies relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive, and consultative associations are inherent in this position.
Other Information
Must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with 1 year at Beebe Medical Center.Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation.
Responsibilities
Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team. Technical Skills. Critical Thinking. Documents assessments accurately and correctly and promptly. Assess patient safety facts and identifies those patients requiring specific safety devices. Evaluates test results reported immediately. Assesses sites daily and intervenes as appropriate. Educational needs of patient. Documents assessment on teaching form and modifies as needed. Transcription of orders. Prioritization.

Credentials:
- RN – Registered Nurse
- BLS – Basic Life Saving certification
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
