Job Description:

This position will function as a supporting role to the Sales agents providing them with necessary data driven analytical support to drive the sales growth. The role provides the necessary tools, assets and resources to both inside and outside sales agents in order to improve efficiency and success. They work to improve workflows, remove roadblocks, and promote efficiencies in the processes, providing data analysis, working with tools like Salesforce to track the performance, recognizing opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate would have excellent knowledge of sales and customer services best practices, strong analytical skills, data driven, ability to interpret results succinctly with high attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promotes emerging technology such as eUsage, e-AWB
  • Feeding the sales agents with key data figures related to market partners, customers and competitors, potentials etc.
  • Identify and effectively communicate/present findings and trends to varied stakeholders
  • Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system
  • Assesses and implements sales tools to facilitate the sales process
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy of CRM and all BI tools
  • Analyze current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements
  • Analyses sales performance data, lost business and other supporting information to drive improvements and change
  • Responsible for feeding data and opportunities into Sales force and assigning them appropriately to Inside and Outside sales agents
  • Build customized dashboards that enables sales and operational success
  • Daily flight planning and prioritizing of shipments based on sales needs.
  • Facilitate CRM (Salesforce) utilization and development to maximize capabilities, improve workflows, and increase adoption of best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
  • Accounting and contract support for awb verification.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure process alignment and compliance of commercial business processes

Job Requirements:

  • Availability to work on a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays) in shifts
  • Intermediate user of other data analyst tools (Power BI, D365, Tableau, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cargo sales/freight forwarding industry, logistics or operations education would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills with ability to summarize complex concepts succinctly
  • Must demonstrate integrity and accountability, being punctual and reliable
  • Work independently under general supervision with expectations for initiative and independent judgement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be comfortable in engaging different modes of communication
  • Strong MS PowerPoint skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Working knowledge of a customer relationship management (CRM) system e.g. salesforce.com will be preferred
  • Excellent Analytical and research skills
  • Intermediate MS Excel user (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience in a sales reporting environment
  • Experience in cargo customer service will be preferred
  • Working experience in a business or analyst role or closely related is preferred
  • 2+ years customer service or analyst experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience is preferred
