Amazon internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks, starting May/June 2022. Applicants should have at a minimum one quarter/semester remaining after their internship concludes. Add expected hours if applicable; note if job requires intern to report onsite. Ex: This role requires Data Center Interns to report onsite for daytime hours, Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship.

When: The internship will tentatively start *June 2022* and last 12-weeks.

Key job responsibilities

You will help us track and manage our relationships with our internal and external stakeholders. This will be done in collaboration with both the internal Business Development team resources and their field counterparts – all driving to generate sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with key customers and strategic partners, defining and enabling solutions, and creating significant business growth opportunities for AWS. You will educate and enable the AWS sales teams selling to (and supporting) customers to drive their day-to-day interactions and accelerate their business outcomes. You will work closely with AWS Solutions Architects, AWS Professional Services and Partners to develop and promote patterns of cloud adoption and solutions.

You will provide inputs to written proposals, and guide our approach to building regions in response to emerging customer needs and unique opportunities. In this role, you will be at the forefront of AWS solutions. The ability to convey complex concepts in written and verbal communication is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance, business, marketing, or relevant field of study.
  • Graduating between December 2022 and September 2023

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Internship experience with a technology-focused company, ideally in Business Development.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements.
  • Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize projects and activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions and solutions.
