As an Account Executive, you are expected to demonstrate a curiosity and eagerness for learning, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to solve problems working backwards from goals. The role requires a keen sense of ownership, scrappiness, initiative, and a track record of executing in the face of ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
  • Ensure customer success with early, mid, and late stage startups
  • Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful go-to-market strategies
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption by engaging Founders, CxO’s, Board of Directors, and Venture Capital influencers
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
  • Expect moderate travel to meet with your customers (following public health guidance and travel restriction protocols)

Job Requirements:

  • Entrepreneurial “builder” mentality
  • Passion for working with startups and helping them grow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and change

Qualification & Experience:

  • 7+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
