ServiceNow Systems Administrator

Hybrid Location

The ServiceNow Administrator will design, implement, and maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform solution by performing application maintenance, managing support for incidents related to ServiceNow applications, and contributing to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features. The ServiceNow Systems Administrator will have sound technical ability that enables the fulfillment of common configuration and maintenance tasks.

How will you spend your days?

  • Provides proactive administration, management, design, implementation, services and support for complete ServiceNow platform and solution
  • Manages and resolves request & incidents against ServiceNow applications
  • Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
  • Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
  • Leads ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
  • Manages Update Set creation and migration
  • Install and manage server/s and client endpoint installation
  • Monitoring and maintenance
  • Configure /standardise reporting
  • Responsible for Architecture/Design solutions for Implementations with multiple customers
  • Design and implementation technical capability and governance
  • Write required process documentation

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience within large enterprise on Implementation
  • ServiceNow configuration which involves various modules, 3rd party integrations example SolarWinds
  • Provide technical advice in numerous areas of the business including deliveries in key Customer projects as well as knowledge contribution to internal and external stakeholders, being a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, workflow management, orchestration, Cloud provisioning etc
  • Perform core configuration tasks such as Add users, group, create workflow activities, configure alerts and notifications View, perform instance branding and customization, Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
  • Understanding of VMWare & Cloud platforms ( Azure & AWS )
  • Experience in Platform Upgrades
  • Experience of working with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, SQL, Windows Server)
  • Excellent technical skills around client and server technologies
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework, Reporting
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure – Servers, OS, Networking, Security, protocols, IIS etc.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technology skillsets
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Must be a team-player
