Aeris Communications Inc. is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Director to guide the digital marketing efforts for a new product within Aeris. In this position you will have a wide degree of autonomy to maximize your impact and leverage your talents. We make decisions (backed by data, facts) quick and sprint to get high-quality campaigns out, with a focus on optimization.
This position will report directly to the head of the business unit for this new product, and will also be a part of the overall Aeris marketing organization. The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, motivated, and a strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail. You will help shape digital marketing strategy to drive results and engagement across multiple platforms and channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective campaigns that deliver on targeted deadlines and maintain high quality, while driving marketing strategy for this new product. This job can be based in either our San Jose or Chicago office.

Responsibilities:
- Developing campaign plans to drive all digital programs including: managing paid advertising (Google, LinkedIn, Programmatic advertising), email campaigns (via Pardot), website optimization (SEO, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization etc.)
- Report on results and evaluate data to make strategic recommendations on where to focus efforts, budgets and resources
- Collaborate with Design and Content specialists and other stakeholders to translate campaigns into operational workflows for execution
- Direct external agency and vendor teams in the development, execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns
- Develop effective relationships within agency teams to drive effective and efficient media plans and direct and manage reporting to effectively optimize campaigns
- Develop and manage digital reporting tools and show success in digital metrics (CPM, CTR, funnel conversions, revenue generation etc.)
- Explore, recommend, and integrate/implement leading-edge digital technologies to improve marketing effectiveness
- Develop and implement rapid A/B testing capabilities for optimization across channels.
- Track, measure, and assess campaign performance to provide marketing program owners with the real-time insights to improve overall program effectiveness and increase marketing impact on revenue
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in a B2B marketing organization – with hands-on experience with multiple digital platforms and exposure to marketing automation tools (Pardot a plus!)
- Experience in driving software downloads and sales of SAAS products.
- Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce)
- Must have campaign and/or program management experience, both planning and execution
- Strong experience building and owning nurture campaign flows to drive pipeline
- Experience in the IoT preferred but not required
- Outstanding communication skills and proven experience in making complex subject matter accessible to a broader audience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present plans and results to business partners on a regular basis
- Proven project management skills, managing a sprint/scrum process a plus!
- Experience examining and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- Strong ability to evaluate campaign data and report on results
- Highly collaborative with relationship-building work style, with a bias to action, willingness to be trained and challenged
- Team player who works cohesively with all departments demonstrating a positive attitude and integrity
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to operate at both highly strategic and very tactical levels
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with impeccable attention to detail
- A strong understanding of SEM, SEO using industry-standard tools (Moz, SEMRush etc.)
