Job Overview

  1. Provide an oversight and coordination during internal and external audits to achieve timely and efficient completion of audits. Be actively engaged in the audit process from planning to issuance of the audit report, including the following:
  • Understand audit scope and areas to be covered and corresponding processes and controls
  • Prepare opening and closing meeting presentations, schedule meetings with appropriate contacts
  • Track submission of audit evidence and assist control owners with evidence gathering and questions related to audit requests
  • Track overall audit progress and proactively communicate any potential issues or concerns
  1. Ensure that issues or problems are addressed and communicated appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Communicate testing results to the process owners and management
  • Assist process owners in evaluation of root causes and remediation plans
  1. Perform process reviews and control self-assessments.
  2. Develop value-added relationships with process owners and management.
  3. Develop knowledge in a critical subject matter area and/or knowledge of key business processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or other control assurance functions.
  • General knowledge of IT systems and understanding of IT controls.
  • Ability to analyze risk and design efficient control practices to minimize risk.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work streams.
