About the job
The Technical Product Specialist role requires a unique combination of technical product knowledge and sales skills. This person will act as the subject matter expert for our customers as well as our territory sales team throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. The preferred candidate will have technical experience, or an engineering degree. More specifically, the desired product knowledge for this opening is fluid power and pneumatics. Preferred areas of experience would be the following:
– Pneumatic Valves (MAC or similar)
– Pneumatic and Electric Actuators (PHD, Bimba, Milwaukee Cylinder or similar)
– Vacuum Systems (Piab or similar)
– Air Preparation (Bimba/Norgren, Wilkerson or similar)
– Tubing and Fittings (Legris/Camozzi or similar)
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge or be motivated to develop that knowledge to support our customers and sales team with application and product knowledge at various points in the sales cycle.
