Description:* In coordination with Engineering Project Managers, ensure that each Bill of Materials (BOM) is finalized, given to accounting and 100% accurate. Receive and review purchase requests, prepares purchase orders. Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors; coordinates activities involved with purchasing products and services within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Evaluate vendors, vendor quotes and services, classifies vendors and determines the most desirable suppliers. Ensure the maintenance of procurement records in accordance with company policies, procedures, and AS9100 processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:* At least 5 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing warehouse environment or equivalent. Knowledge and practical application of purchasing, inventory control and production scheduling standard concepts, practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated skill at building relationships with vendors, articulating Iris needs and desires, and negotiating favorable terms.
