Customer Service Representative- Customer Care Center
The CSR serves as the first contact for the entire Mississippi service area in handling telephone calls to the Customer Service Center. You must be willing to perform these duties within and outside of normal business hours to maintain 24 hour / 7 day per week telephone coverage, and be available for call out. Shift work is required – must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Job Responsibilities:*
- Receive inbound calls
- Assist customers with electrical service issues
- Assist customers with program requests and emergency calls
- Billing inquiries
- Collections inquiries
- Marketing and Sales *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
- Customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer/keyboarding skills
- Computer Knowledge/Skills Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Customer Service Standards
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions
