About the job
Actalent is actively hiring several entry level engineers to work on electrical power distribution projects. This position will help provide calculations and designs overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems. Will assist in design activities, including quality reviews, review of high voltage materials, map out construction for project scopes, monitor and maintain project schedules, report changes that affect the schedule and budget, identify risks that may affect schedule and costs, and presenting opportunities to improve the design and construction of distribution projects. This position will provide distribution calculations for overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems from 4kV through 69kV. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
- 0-1 years of experience (internships will qualify)
- Passion to have career in the power utility industry
- Monday through Friday (standard 40-hour work week)
- Time and a Half for any overtime worked over 40 hours
