  • Responsible for managing battery storage, rooftop and groundmount solar projects from development, through construction to start up.
  • Participate in due diligence process for acquisition of existing assets, and new build pipeline. May require supervision of 3rd party technical consultants, and/or travel to US-North East, Covid restrictions permitting.
  • Manage Invoicing, reporting, RFI\’s, change orders, safety reports, QA reports and funnel this input through the scheduler, controller, project engineer, insurance, accounting.
  • Typical Day:*
  • Once a week lead project team meeting once / week for all project stakeholders including engineering, legal, accounting, permitting, land, construction. Cover issues list and prioritize and delegate.
  • Rest of the week will involve participation in breakout meetings with subject matter experts (SCADA, schedule, land, permitting for example).
  • Desk work processing status reports, invoices, construction draws (collection of invoices to request next month of money), RFI, change orders, purchase orders. This role is open due to acquisition of community solar projects in the U.S. new build solar in Saskatchewan, and batter storage construction in Ontario, and US-Northeast. They need a PM to assign to oversee the projects from start to finish. They currently do not have the capacity to support these projects from a PM perspective which is critical in making sure the projects get off to a good start against the established contracts, budget and schedule.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:* MUST HAVE 1: 10+ years PM and Contracts management experience.

Contracts $1M-$10M. MUST HAVE 2: Renewables experience (wind, solar, battery storage) MUST HAVE 3: Management of Engineering and Construction deliverables

  • Fully Remote *with occasional travel to job sites in Upstate, NY and to office in Toronto, Ontario.
