Immediate need to hire a Quality Technician! The Quality Technician performs quality control inspections of manufactured products, RMA (returned Material) from Customers and purchased parts and components to ensure the meeting of customer specifications and production quality standards.

  • Description:*
  • Perform quality inspection and/or testing of new purchased parts, in process and finished products, and manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of corrective action.
  • Use appropriate measurement tools to determine product quality.
  • Process non conformance reports and notify appropriate stakeholders.
  • Process materials returned from customers to help the warranty claims department to determine disposition.
  • Perform first article inspections and notify stakeholders of results.
  • Participate on cross functional teams to address and resolve quality issues and problems, and to ensure the continuous, on going improvement of processes and methods.
  • Organize and maintain required documentation, records, claims, and paperwork regarding quality of products and jobs run. A Plus to be able to:
  • Operate, program and edit CMM routines as required. Conduct manual surface lay-out of parts.
  • Measure and track First Pass Yield of leak testing processes
  • Perform destructive testing (Burst Test) when required and record results
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
  • Associate’s Degree or certifications within quality and equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of quality experience
  • Quality documentation experience
  • Precision measurement tools
  • APQP a plus
  • CMM Programing a plus
  • Machining environment experience
