  • Description:* The construction manager will be embedded with National Weather Service to act as a Project/Construction Manager that will be responsible for overseeing and directly supporting properties/facilities owned by NWS both CONUS and OCONUS. * i – rectly supporting Federal project manager
  • Developing program of requirements (POR) * coordination with GSA project manager * market research * space planning (includes furniture) * meeting with planning officials * design reviews / charrettes * budget tracking * scheduling
  • Skills:* leasing, construction manager, project manager, construction management
  • Additional Details:*
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years working as a construction manager preferably with Federal Agencies.

Prior experience managing the construction and disposal of real assets.

  • Strong proven track record of managing projects and collaborating with Architects, Engineers, Gov’t officials and other interested parties to complete project.
  • 4 year degree in construction management, civil or related engineering field.
  • Professional certification to include PE, PMP, or related certifications would be strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with GSA schedules and procurement process.
  • Candidates MUST be willing to travel to project locations CONUS/OCONUS paid travel per diem travel up to 25%
