• Description:* Full-time unlicensed architect on the path to licensure with over eight years of experience.

Project Designer is on track for Senior Project Designer advancement; Responsible for concept development, design, and specifications thereof. May supervise a small staff of architects and junior designers.

• Has demonstrated commitment to the firm and the profession as well as shown continuous growth and professionalism in their work.
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the Project Architect/Manager and Principals.
• Has demonstrated ability to produce construction and presentation drawings for projects at all scales, under the direction of a Project Architect or Principal.
• Responsible for drafting, 3D rendering, visualization, and general project support, with strong graphic background and presentation drawing production
• Helps shape the design vision, and responsible for conceptual design leadership
• Coordinates site planning, interior design and work of consulting engineers including checking design documents and resolving conflicts between the various building systems and disciplines
• Assumes responsibility for specific aspects of design development or detailing as delegated by PA.
• Supports the PA in administering construction phase services, including review of submittals & RFIs related to design scope.
• Responsible for reviewing drawings as a quality check between Architect, consultant teams and field construction teams. Checks design and working drawings for accuracy, level of completeness and adherence to industry, office and established design standards
• Supports the PA/ PM with project administration tasks, including work planning, and development of the project schedule. Is responsible for leading these efforts for Pre-Design and SD phases.
• Coordinates with client throughout the project to obtain information related to design criteria
• Supervises, coordinates and leads the design team on a project in developing the Schematic Design Package.

Responsible for overseeing 1-3 architectural staff.

• Knowledgeable of the design process tasks, milestones & deliverables required with little supervision required, and is able to lead/ guide team members
• Works with the PM/ PA to develop specialty design details, assists with construction documents and coordinates code issues and site development.
• Complete work on time, within budget, with a high degree of client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with outside consultants and other team members.

Review consultants work to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Verify that the project work is done efficiently and in accordance with established office standards.
• Review all milestone drawings for design accuracy and completeness.
• Responsible for maintaining and championing design integrity, quality and intent of the project from start through end of construction.
• Supports marketing and business development activities
• Skills:* architecture, revit, design, rfi, change order, cost analysis, redlining, construction document, autocad, adobe photoshop, space planning, indesign, sketchup, rhino, educational projects

• Space Planning, massing, concept/ thematic development
• Strong graphic skills & knowledge of 3D & rendering software
• Strong skills in Revit
• Code Knowledge & able to coordinate with PM/ PA
• Consultant Coordination & able to lead effort during Pre-Design, SD & DD
• Exceptional communication, organizational, listening skills and good follow-through
• Experience Level:* Expert Level
