  • Description:* Actalent is hiring 10+ Manufacturing Engineers in Central Illinois (within 35 miles of Normal) for a long term project supporting a high volume machining area.
  • 5 entry level Mfg Engineers with exposure to machining processes from internships or hands on work experience)
  • 5 experienced Mfg Engineers with in depth knowledge of machining processes (milling, turning, grinding)
  • Skills:* machining, manufacturing engineering, grinding, tool design
  • Top Skills Details:* machining, manufacturing engineering, grinding
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
  • Machining process knowledge with Lathe, Mill, EDM (Micro Hole), ECM (both deburring and machining), or Grinding experience in either Plunge, Thru Feed, Face, Seat, ID Bore.
  • Knowledge of seeing parts from the first article through final op and what is required to get a completed component to the end and within the finish print requirements.
  • Working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans and Gaging.
  • A good understanding of OP and Final Print reading.
  • Experience Level:* Entry Level to Expert level
