Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for the development & troubleshooting of processes and production lines related to design, material, or process.

  • Facilitate & participate in concept brainstorming & strategy sessions.
  • Influence and propel multi-functional team members to achieve stretch goals.
  • Utilize a “hands on” engineering approach in developing and troubleshooting production lines as related to design, material, or process.
  • Maintain and modify plant equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient.
  • Plan and design experiments and conduct data analysis to support production lines.
  • Design and implement test methods and equipment to support product development.
  • Responsible for research & engineering documentation.
  • Solve complex problems and make sound design recommendations.
  • Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting & diagnosing design and manufacturing quality problems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality or to assess existing technologies.
  • Research future concepts within market including the monitoring of technology trends.
  • May manage capital projects for implementing, modifying, and replacing manufacturing equipment. *Skills:* Proficient 3D CAD applications, Manufacturing environment experience, Project management, Steel industry, Heavy industrial manufacturing *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* -The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ relevant experience -Heavy industrial manufacturing environment is preferred
