Job title: Service Desk Analyst

Location: Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Turnford, some occasional travel maybe required to UK offices

Employment type: 12 month FTC

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, (shifts between 7am and 6pm) with requirement to do out of hours on call 1 in every 4 weeks.

Due to internal growth, we have an exciting job opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst. In this role you will deliver all aspects of 2 nd line support, managing incident request to minimise the impact on our customers.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer centric environment, implementing best practices.

Every day you will…

  • Manage incidents in line with company and ITIL best practices and processes
  • Carry out systematic checks to identify and resolve incidents ensuring minimal impact on customers
  • Carry out root cause analysis to revolve problem tickets
  • Ensure that assigned tickets are resolves within the agreed SLA’s, working to ensure high standards are maintained, and keep the customer informed throughout the process.
  • Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring regular progress updates, maintaining scheduling commitments, and reporting on issues or incidents that may impact this.
  • Document and maintain standard processes

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have the following technical capabilities…

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven 2 nd line support/troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated awareness of MS Office365 support
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting MS Teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O/S support
  • Experience of Mac OS support
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM Ticketing System
  • IT Hardware (computer, monitor, scanner, printer)
  • Computer imaging, configuration & profiling
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • CompTIA A+/ Network+, MCP or ITIL
  • Experience of MS Windows Serve
  • IP/Cloud Telephone System
  • RDS and Thin Client setup & support
  • Mimecast
  • Sophos Cloud
