As we grow, our R&D department is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a System Administrator to maintain and support our computing environments.

The System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of AIVF’s systems. The office environment is a mix of Windows and Mac devices, using G-Suite, and the product runs on Linux containers, hosted at AWS.
As the System Administrator, you will:
· Assist DevOps Engineer in managing the AWS environment, including adding, configuring, troubleshooting, and deleting of servers and components
· Manage security tasks, including patch management, MDM, and vulnerability monitoring
· Own the user and application administration
· Monitor AIVF systems for security and capacity purposes
· Automate tasks and processes using DevOps or other tools and methodologies to offload manual tasks and enhance capabilities
· Interface with R&D staff to plan needs for infrastructure, and diagnose and solve issues
· Create high-level and detailed documentation
Qualifications
· 2+ years of system administration experience
· Customer-centric approach to support and service
· Being resourceful and able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
· Ability to complete tasks and assignments with minimal supervision
· Experience working with MDMs, AWS, G-Suite – a plus
· Coding or scripting experience with either Python/Bash/PowerShell – a plus
· AWS certification – a plus
