About The Opportunity

At Cribl, our number one value is customers first, always. That, and the fact that our product works–solving problems that have been agitating security and IT practitioners for years–make this job super important, super fun and super impactful. You are a relationships, content and programs person. We’re very much in build mode, so there are several key components to this role. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Customer Advocacy.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Advocate for customers. Be aware of which communication channels are and aren’t working and which additional assets we need to create as a business to help customers get more value from Cribl.
  • You will map out the customer “try it” journey and ensure we have the support and tooling in place to deliver optimal customer experiences trying Cribl products. (Note–you aren’t on the hook for creating all of the assets, but quarterbacking with other teams to help customers progress along their success path.)
  • Help customers find and share knowledge. We’ll soon be launching Cribl Curious, a question and answer, reddit style site and we need you to manage the long-term planning, curation and engagement for the site.
  • Build relationships with customers. You will build relationships with customers across use cases, industries and roles to build a library of reference stories
  • Create case studies, podcasts and content for analyst briefings
  • Create the assets we’ll use across our branding, marketing, educational, open source and internal training initiatives.
  • Architect the best ways to share content cross-functionally to get the greatest impact from the words of our customer champions.
  • Build an economy and program whereby we allow customers, partners and internal Criblinians to earn points and recognition for participating in the community.
  • Design and measure the KPI’s for the communication of the impact of what we’re doing
  • Define the rules for engagement for community members who aren’t considered traditional “leads.”

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, community management, customer success
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships internally with sales, solutions engineering and customer success/ support teams
  • Demonstrated ability to launch net new programs and report out on impact
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally
  • Self-starter able to initiate and drive multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated customer-first mindset
  • Project management skills, ability to organize, categorize and find information quickly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of what content technical folks need to be self-sufficient using Cribl’s suite of products
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of IT and security teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Mastery of productivity tools like Google suite, Slack, Outlook, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software, like Salesforce
  • Experience with customer reference management software
